One Arrested in Clendenin Shooting

Kanawha County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested 35-year old Christopher Dwayne Bennett of Elkview after a shooting in the Clendenin area Saturday afternoon. Sgt. B-D Humphreys says Bobby Hall of Elkview, went to a location on Kelly Hill Road searching for a friend’s stolen vehicle, and got into a fight, then left. When he came back he got into another argument over the same issue, this time with Bennett. During that fight Bennett shot Hall in the shoulder and face causing what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
