Mother Faces Possible Charges After Accident Kills Her Children

More now on an accident that killed two young children on Interstate 64 in Milton. Cabell County deputies say warrants have been obtained for the mother, 26-year old Siera Burgess. She’s facing two counts of DUI causing death after two of her children – 1-year old Sarah Cooper and 3-year old Skylor Cooper died when Burgess crossed the median and crashed head on into a truck. Burgess is still hospitalized, recovering from injuries sustained in the crash, and her 7-year old daughter, Madilyn is also recovering.
