Man Reaches Plea Deal in 2014 Murder
A Cross Lanes man pleaded guilty to second-degree murder as part of a plea agreement in a Kanawha County case. Dustin Wayne Bodkins is automatically sentenced to 20 years in prison. Bodkins was accused in In the July 2014 Cross Lanes shooting death of Timothy Morris of St. Albans. In October 2014, Bodkins had pleaded not guilty to charges of first-degree murder and wanton endangerment in the case.
