Man Detained for Trying to Break Into Secure Areas at the Capitol
A 22-year old man who lives at a men’s shelter is facing charges after trying to get into a secured area at the State Capitol on Wednesday. Brian Sanders tried to open several locked doors, and when he was asked if he needed help started acting erratically and ran away. When police caught up with him, they had to use pepper spray to subdue him. After an evaluation at the hospital he’ll be charged with battery and obstruction.
