July will welcome a new season of celebrating local musicians and emerging artists live at the Clay Center with a packed fall season of Sound Checks! The second half of the 2022 series will begin on July 23rd with King Calaway, and the series will feature six shows and twelve musical acts!
*NOTE*- Sound Checks is a unique setup, completely different from ‘normal’ Clay Center shows—For indoor shows, A small stage is set up at the back of the big stage in the Maier Foundation Performance Hall. Shows are standing room with bistro tables, and you watch the concert while standing on the stage where most artists would perform. Weather permitting, some shows will be held outdoors in the sculpture garden.
