Kanawha School Policies

In their March 7th meeting, members of the Kanawha County Board of Education discussed current school cancellation and delay policies with teachers and parents. Last year, board members decided to eliminate 2-hour delays and cancel school when severe weather was anticipated. It’s something teachers say has been very disruptive for students, especially since canceled school days must be made up later in the year.
