I-64 to Have Nightly Closures

The West Virginia Department of Transportation has released the schedule for the repair and resurfacing work on 4.5 mile stretch of I-64 eastbound. The work is starting this week, and crews will work from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Monday through Friday. On the weekends the hours will be from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. The project is expected to last until mid-November and covers I-64 from Nitro to Institute. The total cost for the project is around $7 million.
