Freedom and the DEP Continue Search for a Contractor

Freedom Industries and the DEP are ooking for a new contractor to handle remediation of Freedom’s spill site along the Elk River. A judge held off on finalizing the DEP-Freedom settlement while a motion is pending for the court to approve a new remediation contractor. The settlement agreement could be approved by July 21st if the contractor issues are worked out in the meantime.
