First Major Spelling Bee Set for Saturday

Kanawha County will host the region’s first major spelling bee of 2016 tomorrow. Sixty-one are signed up this year, and they’ve already advanced through classroom and school spelling bees. The county bee will be followed by the newspaper’s regional spelling bee in March and nationals in May.
