Extension in unemployment

Representative Evan Jenkins is pushing for an extension for unemployment benefits for miners who have been laid off. The Third District congressman is proposing an additional four months of benefits through a bill called the COAL Miners Act. COAL stands for Creating Opportunities for America’s Laid-off Miners. Jenkins says he has support from both sides of the aisle.
