Diversifed agrees to plug aging wells

Diversified Gas and Oil has made a deal with state regulators to plug oil and gas wells over the next fifteen years. The company entered a consent order with the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection to plug over 700 wells. The company owns about 17-thousand oil and gas wells in the state, 500 of which are non-producing.
