Concealed Carry Bill Moves Forward

Members of the West Virginia Senate Judiciary Committee heard arguments Monday, Feb. 15 about a bill that would allow state residents to carry a concealed weapon without a permit. The bill has already passed the House of Delegates and is up for consideration in Senate Judiciary. A similar bill passed both the House and Senate last year but was vetoed by Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin. The bill would allow state residents to carry a hidden handgun without getting a concealed weapons permit.
