Citizen Group Wants Money From Ex-Freedom Officials

A citizen group wants money from Freedom Industries leaders. People Concerned About Chemical Safety asked a judge for restitution from Freedom officials who are convicted or plead guilty to crimes related to the January 2014 spill. Prosecutors say the restitution money could go for chemical accident prevention efforts, or water quality upgrades. The defense argues it complicates an already complex case. Two former Freedom executives have guilty plea hearings set for this week.
