Charleston officer shot during home invasion

A Charleston police officer was shot during a home invasion last night. Five men with guns broke into a house on Albert Street just after 11 p.m. Police shot and killed one man, at least two others we’re wounded. The officer was wearing a bullet proof vest, he was taken to the hospital for treatement.
