WV and Prescription Drugs

A deal is in place between West Virginia and two prescription drug wholesalers. State officials said yesterday AmerisourceBergen will pay 16-million-dollars while Cardinal Health will fork over 20-million-dollars to resolve claims of wrongdoing over its controlled substance distribution. The money will be used to support drug abuse prevention and treatment in West Virginia.
