Sobriety Checkpoint Planned near Belle

The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office has another high visibility sobriety checkpoint planned for this weekend. The Sheriff’s Office teams up with the Governor’s Highway Safety Program for look for impaired drivers, and the checkpoint will be running Saturday from 7pm to midnight on US Route 60 near Belle. This is part of the Sheriff’s office zero tolerance policy when it comes to drunk and drug-influenced driving in Kanawaha County.
