WQBE’s Morning Show Co-Host – Jeff Jeffreys has always been in the radio business. His dad took him to work at his radio station in Virginia from the time he was 5 years old. He worked for his dad until he was 23 and then went to work for Bristol Broadcasting in 1980.
Jeff worked in Bristol, VA. at the Home Office and WXBQ FM for 8 years then transferred to Charleston, WV where he has been for 30 years.
Jeff is one of the longest running employees with Bristol Broadcasting and has been a part of the #1 rated Morning Show in Charleston for years. Jeff spend 17 years working side by side with Al Woody and since his passing in 2018. Jeff now is the co-host with Al Woody’s son Junior plus Bob Hamilton, Al Archer and Jenn Austin. The Morning Air Show has been the most listened to morning program for almost 30 years.
Jeff and his wife Jerie are now empty nesters and extremely proud grandparents to Juju, Emma, Rory, JT and Owen. They have love for dogs and cats. Jeff and his wife enjoy spending time at home and at church.
Jessie started her radio career working for WKHX , WYAY, and WDWD ABC/Disney in 1999. She left for a few months to do an internship with Walt Disney World in Florida but was lassoed back into radio. She worked in promotions as Jessie Jane and was part of the street team until 2012. Jessie and her family moved to West Virginia to be closer to family in 2015. Jessie joined the WQBE morning crew in 2025 and has enjoyed working alongside Jeff Jeffries as they help make the morning commute a little more bearable.
Jessie lives in Clendenin with her husband Justin and her two beautiful girls. When Jessie isn’t putting the spurs to it she is running her girls to their sporting events. Jessie and her family enjoy the outdoors, camping, fishing, kayaking, and of course fairs, festivals, and concerts.
