White House Granting Disaster Declaration

The White House is granting West Virginia’s disaster declaration request. Governor Justice formally asked for the declaration following the late July storms and approval was given on Friday. Federal money will be available after more than 160 homes were badly damaged or destroyed while close to 560 others received some damage. Help will be given to repair private and public projects and those in need can register at FEMA’s website.
