Several Diseases Qualify Under Medical Marijuana Bill
Health conditions that would qualify someone under the new medical marijuana bill include cancer, HIV or AIDS, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, Crohn’s disease, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Some seizures and chronic pain disorders would also quality someone to be eligible for medical marijuana. Folks would have to apply for a patient ID card from the Bureau of Public Health. The bill was approved by lawmakers and it’s with the governor now for approval or veto.
