Pre K Funding
West Virginia is getting high marks for its pre-K funding and the results it’s having on students. A recent report by the Education Commission of the States says West Virginia is one of six states nationally to meet all ten quality benchmark standards and has made solid gains in reading levels. The results for 2015 show that West Virginia has moved up six spots to 40th in third-grade reading.
