Population in Kanawha

West Virginia’s population is falling in most counties. New Census Bureau numbers show 47 of the state’s 55 counties lost people last year, with Kanawha County’s drop of nearly two-thousand leading the way. More than 800 people moved away from Raleigh and Logan counties last year and many smaller areas saw a dip as well. Cabell County’s population shift was a decrease of more than 500 people.
