Man Faces Charges for Selling Drugs on WVSU Campus
A Detroit man has pleaded guilty to selling drugs on the West Virginia State University campus. 22-year old Kyle Russell sold drugs to an undercover agent in August 2017, after the agent arranged to meet with Russell’s co-defendant, Baylee Gibson, to buy meth. Then with a search warrant at a house Russell was using to store drugs near the campus, agents seized meth and found a loaded gun in a backpack. US Attorneys say drug task forces, campus police, and federal, state and local law enforcement agencies are keeping an eye on college campuses this fall.
