Man admits to abusing child for more than a decade

The Preston County Sheriff’s Office says 51-year-old Dewayne Watring turned himself in and told officers he sexually assaulted a child for more than a decade. Watring said he assaulted the victim more than one-hundred times between 1997 and 2010. The abuse began when the child was six.
