Items stuffed in Fryer

A year in prison could be given to a man in West Virginia who’s accused of stealing items in a turkey fryer. The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office says Doyle Crooks stuffed more than one-thousand-dollars worth of merchandize into the fryer at a Cabela’s and tried to pay for it at the register. They say he put hunting gear and other items in the box with the fryer, tapped it up and went to the front to pay. He was recognized for allegedly committing the same crime several months earlier and was taken into custody.
