Inmate killed at federal prison

A USP Hazelton inmate was killed Monday. Twenty-seven-year-old Demario Porter got into an altercation with another prisoner. Porter died at a local hospital. It’s the second death this year at the federal prison, and officials say it spotlights the staffing issues at the facility. Hazleton has over thirty vacant positions.
