Huntington Fire

The Huntington fire marshal is investigating a fire at a Huntington apartment complex that they are calling very suspicious. Huntington fire chief Carl Eastham said this fire is suspicious for two reasons. The first is that at about 1 a.m. Sunday two separate fires, in two separate places within the building, were reported inside the Flats on 4th apartment complex at the same time; one on the first floor and one on the second. The second reason is the building’s fire alarms had been disabled and never sounded. There were no serious injuries in the fire but 100 to 110 residents have been displaced.
