Higher Educations Funding Cuts

The presidents of West Virginia’s largest state-supported universities are joining forces to fight higher education funding cuts. Marshall University President Jerome Gilbert and West Virginia University President Gordon Gee have issued a statement that higher education is one of the keys to West Virginia’s future prosperity. The two are working together to try to prevent further significant cuts to state funding for colleges and universities, saying it would be devastating.
