Gas Tax

As of the first of the year, the amount of gasoline tax in the state is a penny less per gallon. That may save you a slight bit the next time you fill your tank, but the drop in revenue for the state could result in lack of funding for bridge repair and repaving projects. As of January 1st, the state’s gasoline tax is down to 32-point-two cents per gallon.
