Garbage truck smashes into South Charleston home

A scare for an elderly woman in South Charleston…A city garbage truck ran into a home on Ridge Driver Wednesday afternoon. An elderly woman was home when it happened. She had to crawl out of the house, but wasn’t hurt. Police are investigating. The driver says the air brakes failed.
