Elementary Students Get New Therapy Dog

A new therapy dog will help local elementary students. Students at Mary C. Snow Elementary has a new 15-month-old lab as part of the Handle With Care Program that helps students get through traumatic events and minimize the negative effects. The dog’s handler will take him home every night and bring him to school the next day. The elementary school’s first therapy dog named Pacha who retired after 10 years of service.
