Disciplinary hearing against Loughry could proceed

The state Judicial Disciplinary Counsel filed a motion with the West Virginia Supreme Court to lift a stay and proceed with a disciplinary hearing for convicted West Virginia Supreme Court Justice Allen Loughry. The board agreed to delay the proceedings in July until pending criminal charges against Loughry could be resolved. Loughry was convicted earlier this month on eleven federal charges.
