Comment Period Open Now on Logan Deer Hunt

Plans for a controlled deer hunt at Chief Logan State Park have temporarily been halted by Gov. Jim Justice. Justice said he has become aware of concerns being raised about the hunt and has ordered the Division of Natural Resources to do further research on the proposal and report back to him in 30 days. He said the state wants to make a decision that balances the interests of all sides.
