Body found on Wheeling Island

Police are investigating after a body was found in debris on the shoreline of Wheeling Island. A fisherman discovered the body on the southern tip of the island Sunday evening. Police say the body appears to have been in the water for some time. The West Virginia Medical Examiner’s Office in Charleston is trying to identify the remains.
