Amtrak to Close Ticet Sales Office

Soon all Amtrak ticket sales will be online. The company has announced plans to eliminate its last ticket agent job in early June at the Charleston station. The Charleston stop will be a place to get on and off the train, without any interaction with an Amtrak employee. Earlier this month, Amtrak announced it would no longer back the specialty trains like the New River train from Huntington to Hinton. After backlash, Amtrak said it would try to work something out.
