New Ambulance building

In Kanawha County, a brand new ambulance authority building is now up and running. Station 30 in South Charleston is ready to open its doors to the community. They’re relocating from the fire department in Spring Hill to MacCorkle Avenue beside Napa Auto Parts. The new station means no more sharing with the fire department, better access to MacCorkle Avenue and faster response times. Jarrett said South Charleston has a good sense of community and that’s important when tragedy strikes. Funding for the new building came from a levy, and there are now 12 of these stations throughout Kanawha County.
