4-year-old recovering after shooting self

A four-year-old child is recovering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. It happened around eight o’clock Friday night on Birch Street, just outside of St. Albans. The child was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover. It’s unclear how the child got the gun; an investigation is ongoing.
