Teachers unions

Three different teachers unions are filing a lawsuit in an attempt to get pay and benefits returned to Boone County teachers. Last month, the Boone County School Board voted to cut pay and take away vision and dental benefits in order to balance the budget and avoid state control. The lawsuit claims the teachers should have been notified before March 1st that they would lose nearly four-thousand-dollars in pay and benefits.
