Stoplight to be Added on Route 60 in Hurricane

Concerned drivers may get their way when it comes to preventing accidents along Route 60 in Hurricane. Hurricane city leaders recently passed a resolution to install a traffic light along Route 60 at the intersection with Sycamore Road where there’s currently a caution light. This comes after neighbors put together a petition to add a stoplight since the construction on I-64 started and pushed overflow traffic onto the road. The resolution will now go on to the West Virginia Department of Transportation for consideration.
