Staggs found not guilty
A man accused of taking his daughter-in-laws life, in March 2015 and wounding her ex-husband has been found not guilty of all charges. Andrew Staggs was accused in the murder of Katie Toler and the malicious wounding of Chad Mays. Both were shot along Coal River Road near Tornado. Attorney Dan Holstein, who represented Staggs, said the trial lasted six days in Lincoln County. Holstein said Staggs acted in self-defense, and the jury responded by finding him innocent of all charges.
