Red Cross helping

The American Red Cross is currently responding to devastating flooding across much of our great state. This afternoon, North Country Red Cross volunteer Jamie Bonner of Westville, NY (Franklin County) will be deployed to support the ongoing relief operation.
Hundreds of Red Cross disaster workers are on the ground in West Virginia now. They are opening shelters and providing meals, relief supplies and other assistance to many families unexpectedly forced from their homes by this disaster. Bonner will be supporting feeding operations – providing meals to flood victims and emergency responders – during his deployment.
