Huntington Water Main break

West Virginia American Water has issued a precautionary boil water advisory for thousands of customers in Huntington following a large water main break. Thousands of customers in the downtown Huntington and surrounding areas are affected following the water main break that happened about 12:15 p.m. yesterday. The break caused water to flood the roadway, diverting traffic and disrupting water service. The estimated repair time for the water line is sometime this morning.
