Early Voting Record
West Virginia has officially set a record for early voting, according to the Secretary of State’s office. More than 220,000 West Virginians marked their ballots during the 10-day early voting period ending Saturday, according to a news release. During the 2012 presidential general election, there were just over 150 thousand early voters. In 2008, there were 153 thousand.
Polls open statewide today from 6:30 and close at 7:30 p.m.
