Consolidating higher education

A new report is recommending the consolidation of West Virginia’s smaller colleges. The proposal by a study group launched by Governor Justice recommends merging the governing boards of Bluefield State college and concord University, and later for Glenville State College and West Virginia State University. Justice announced his Blue Ribbon Commission on Higher Education this week. He wants it’s work complete by December.
