Body found on Charleston’s West Side

Charleston police are investigating after a body was found on the West Side. The body of 55-year-old David Chapman was found near a culvert in an industrial are near Bigley Avenue Wednesday afternoon. No foul play is expected. The medical examiner’s office is determining the cause of death.
