Arrests Made in Rand Shooting
One arrest this week connected to a January shooting in Rand. 29-year old Gerard Maxwell of Rand, is charged with murder in the shooting death of 27-year old Christopher “Snacks” Carey, according to Cpl. Brian Humphreys with the Kanwaha County Sheriff’s Office. Maxwell is also charged with the attempted murder of Latisha Crawford. Two others connected to the shootings were arrested in March.
