Daughter Sentenced After Stealing from Her Mother

A Charleston woman has learned her sentence after being accused of stealing almost $70,000 from her mother. Amanda Reavis also abandoned her ailing mother for almost two weeks while she was immobile and unable to care for herself. Reavis was sentenced this week to five to 35 years in prison for neglecting her mother and taking money from her savings, according to the Kanawha County Prosecutor’s Office.
