Man charged with having 17 rattlesnakes in his home

A Randolph County man is facing charges after DNR officers found seventeen rattlesnakes in his home. The suspect is charged with two counts of illegal possession of a timber rattlesnake. State law limits the possession of rattlesnakes to one snake that is 42-inches or longer.
