Man pleads guilty to embezzling money from Teays Valley Fire Dept.

The former cabinet secretary of the West Virginia Department of Veterans Assistance, Clifford Gwinn, has pleaded guilty to embezzling more than 178-thousand-dollars from the Teays Valley volunteer fire department. He faces up to 15 years in prison. Gwinn is the former vice president and fiscal officer of the fire department, and has agreed to pay restitution.
