Reducing College Debt

Higher education officials in the state are trying to reduce college student debt. The College Foundation of West Virginia said its goal is to have at least 63 percent of high school seniors file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid by the middle of April next year. Last year’s goal was 60 percent and the funding can give students close thousands of dollars a year in grant money.
