12 members resign from Jefferson County Development Authority

Twelve of the twenty-one members of the Jefferson County Development Authority have resigned, including Chairman Eric Lewis. Tensions continue to build in the ongoing controversy over the Rockwool insulation plant. Some board members had been targets of attacks by citizens against the plant. The remaining board members will continue until the county commission appoints new members.
